Meet the Decorators History of Main Street Interiors Main Street Interiors has long been recognized as the premier source for fine furnishings and interior decorating expertise in Forsyth County. In 1994, Gail Wills & MJ David joined their two independent businesses, one being a floral and accessory shop and the other a window treatment workroom to open Silk Designs & Interiors. The combination of the two businesses extended their decorating potential and allowed them to combine their creative talents which helped the business evolve. In 1997, the name changed to Main Street Interiors to convey to their clients that they were now a full service design firm. With an experienced staff of decorators and installation and delivery personnel, no project is too small or too large for this team of design professionals. Over the years in business, Main Street Interiors has also combined a group of contractors from custom furniture to flooring to painting to remodeling, etc. These contractors work closely with the decorators at Main Street Interiors, allowing them to offer their clients the best quality possible on all aspects of their decorating project. The projects of the decorators at Main Street Interiors include: Residential – New Construction & Remodel Commercial – Finish Selections & Décor Model Homes – Finish Selections & Décor Hospitality – Rental & Vacation Homes Main Street Interiors is a member of the National Home Furnishings Association and all decorators are certified with IDS – the Interior Design Society. Gail Wills - Owner, Head Decorator With 22 years experience, Gail has helped many of her clients achieve a comfortable and beautifully decorated home. As a native of Forsyth County, she attended Lanier Tech in pursuit of a Business Degree. In 1988, she started her own business, Silk Designs, utilizing her talents as a floral designer. As her business and design talents grew, she decided to extend her business to incorporate the ability to offer her clients a full design package. In 1994, she partnered with MJ David and together they started Main Street Interiors. Gail has nurtured her talents over the years by attending various design classes and regularly attending the High Point Furniture and Atlanta Merchandise Markets. She is an Associate Member of The Interior Design Society. MJ David - Owner, Decorator, Operations Manager MJ started her training by attending The College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where she earned a BS degree in Business Administration. In 1992, she began her 18 years experience by starting a window treatment workroom. Two years later, she decided to grow her company and joined with Gail Wills to open Main Street Interiors. She handles the operations of the business as well as helping clients decorate their homes. MJ stays abreast of the latest design trends by attending various design classes and regularly attending the High Point Furniture and Atlanta Merchandise Markets. She is an Associate Member of The Interior Design Society.
